Theoretical model of shear capacity of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams

چکیده

One of the barriers to implementation steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) into structural applications is lack understanding shear behaviour SFRC members. This paper proposes a theoretical model for capacity members with mild reinforcement based on shear-carrying mechanisms and sectional analysis. The derived completely theoretically, concepts from literature, does not include new empirical aspects. approach then compared 323 experiments literature beams slender, rectangular cross-sections failing in shear. It found that slightly conservative, experimental research necessary further develop described. presented theory aims be framework fully description longitudinal without reinforcement.
